Firefighters are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Crewe Road/Gateway Crewe. Please avoid the area if possible.
Update at 6pm - Crews are working to release a casualty that is trapped in one of the vehicles.
Update at 6:40pm - Firefighters used cutting tools to remove the roof of the vehicle and safely remove the casualty, who is now in the care of paramedics and will be transported to hospital. Fire crews will be leaving the scene shortly.
