Wholetime firefighter recruitment
Our Wholetime Recruitment registration window is now closed.
Candidates who successfully pass all three tests will be invited via email by 5pm on Wednesday 15th August, to attend a one day practical assessment which will take place between 3rd and 7th September 2018 at our Sadler Road site in Winsford.
Prior to attending the one day practical assessment candidates will have the opportunity to attend a Firefighter Fitness Orientation session. These sessions will take place on 22nd and 29th August 2018 and last approximately 1 and a half hours.
Candidates successful at practical will be invited to attend an interview on one date between 1st and 5th October 2018.
Those offered an appointment to the role of Firefighter with Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service will be expected to start their initial course from 2nd January 2019 subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks including medical, references and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
