High Potential Development Scheme (HPDS)
We recruit two individuals who demonstrate the potential to be a future leaders within Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service. The individuals who are selected will undertake a full time degree course at the University of Central Lancashire (Uclan).
They will be sponsored for this course.

Integrated Personal Development System (IPDS)
IPDS enables Fire & Rescue Services to train and develop staff to meet the changing demands that face the service. It enables individuals to assess their development needs against a set of National Occupational Standards (NOS) and seek appropriate training and development opportunities.
