LOCATION: Winsford Service Headquarters
RESPONSIBLE TO: Business Liaison Manager
The Business Liaison Team supports Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service in its work to ensure Cheshire is a safe place in which to live, work and travel. Safety Assessments play a pivotal role in protecting people from the risk of fire in their place of work. The aim of this role is to enhance and complement the role of Advocates and Technical Safety Officers in meeting the needs of our local communities and help build closer links with them.
Provide a friendly and accessible focal point of contact between the local community and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Support community events and initiatives to promote safety awareness.
Provide administrative and IT skills to support the Business Liaison Department office.
A minimum of 4 hours per month is recommended for this role.
