Arrived in Kathmandu

All 28 of us have finally arrived in Nepal.  We are very tired but excited to be in Nepal.

We got a coach to our hotel, which is in the centre of Kathmandu. The place is amazing and nothing like any of us thought it would be like.



















From the coach we get a little glimpse of the town which was very busy. Our hotel is four stars and it’s lovely.

We’ve had something to eat and have settled into our rooms. I know we are all going to sleep really well tonight!

There’s a bit of time for sightseeing tomorrow in Kathmandu before we fly on to Phaplu ... in two small planes!!! That’s the bit we're not looking forward to.

We can’t carry too much stuff with us on the trek so we will have to reduce what we take dramatically this evening, ready for an early start to the airport.
