Casualty rescue from Chester Cathedral

Fire and rescue teams have been at Chester Cathedral carrying out the rescue of a male casualty from the Cathedral tower. 

The casualty was secured to a stretcher and firefighters and the Service's rope rescue team brought him down safely. 

He was handed into the care of paramedics.    

Police and the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) were also at the scene.
