UPDATED - Fire involving acetylene cylinders in Warrington

Details

Firefighters are at the scene of a fire at Jones Nuttall in Warrington.  The incident involves acetylene cylinders which firefighters, four wearing breathing apparatus, are using covering jets to cool.  A cordon has been established around the area with nearby premises evacuated.  Please avoid the area around Lilford Street, Folly Lane and Bewsey Road while emergency services deal with the incident. 

UPDATE 11:15

The crews have the incident contained and have confirmed there are no casualties.

This will be updated as more information becomes available. 

UPDATE AT 13:00

Firefighters are preparing to leave the scene after cooling the cylinders and monitoring the temperature. The cordon has been reduced to the effected building with people being allowed to return the surrounding premises. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
