Fire crews were called to a report of a rubbish fire that had spread to some flats on Folly Lane in Bewsey.

When they arrived crews found that there was a fire to the rear of the flats. Crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to tackle the blaze. They also led a man to safety from the property.

An investigation has now been launched to find the cause of the rubbish fire that started the fire.
