Blue light open day

Blue Light Open Day
On Sunday 16th July the doors of Cheshire Constabulary HQ will be thrown open for the public to see the good work that Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service and Cheshire Police do around the clock.

The Blue Light Open Day is a hugely popular event that gives people a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the outstanding work of the county’s emergency services will run from 11.30am to 4.30pm.

Due to the growing popularity of the event, this year it will be ticket only. This is to manage the number of visitors, ensuring everyone can enjoy the day in a comfortable environment.

Tickets have all been allocated but you can add yourself to a waiting list, by using the link below:

Book on to the waiting list (open in new window)

When booking tickets, you need to ensure that each ticket is in the name of each individual attending. You can’t bulk order tickets under one name. You can either print the ticket out, which will have a unique barcode which will be scanned when you enter HQ, or you can use your smart phone.

About the open day

Those lucky enough to secure their tickets will experience an array of interesting stalls, displays and interactive demonstrations. Find out what it’s like to ride in cabin of a real fire engine, come and meet the stars of the Police Interceptors show; and get up close and personal with our canine crimefighters. You could even watch the Chief Constable being petrol bombed!
