Station Chaplain

Steve Parish, a retired vicar, is Fire Service Chaplain in Warrington, covering Stockton Heath and Birchwood fire stations as well as Warrington. He visits the stations, trying to see each Watch at least once every six weeks.

Informal Contacts

The object of informal contacts and conversations is to build bridges and make it easy if staff wish to approach the chaplain about something. Steve says it keeps him in touch with the real world rather than just dealing with Church matters.
