About Widnes Fire Station
Widnes Fire Station is a "Wholetime" Station which means staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week staffed by 4 watches (Red,White,Blue and Green) consisting of 1 Watch Manager, 1 Crew Manager and 4 Firefighters.
Each watch works 2 day shifts (0800-2000) followed by 2 night shifts (2000-0800) then 4 days off.
Our firefighters are busy with many activities besides training and responding to emergency calls.
Firefighters from Widnes Fire Station are proactive in their efforts to reduce callout activity and make our community safer. We undertake many activities within the community on a daily basis and are proud of our efforts.
