Christopher Cloke BSc, MSc
Christopher Cloke is Head of Safeguarding in Communities with the NSPCC where he has worked for over 20 years. He is a Vice President of the Community Practitioners and Health Visitors Association and is a member of the Advisory Group to the Anti Bullying Alliance, which he chaired for a number of years. Chris has written particularly on child protection related matters and is the editor of a series of books published by John Wiley. He has been a member of the London Safeguarding Children Board and vice chair of the Birmingham SCB Sub Group on Communications and Communities.
While at the NSPCC, Chris’s responsibilities have included the development of awareness campaigns and initiatives, liaison with and influencing professionals from different disciplines, supporting the voluntary and community sector, the promotion of diversity, and local campaigning. He has worked closely on the NSPCC FULL STOP Campaign.
Prior to working at the NSPCC, Chris worked at Age Concern England (now called Age UK), London Voluntary Service Council, and the Runnymede Trust.
