HR Assistant - Supporting Business Partnership Unit

37 hours per week (5 days per week), Fixed term contract 6 months

Salary scale 4, £25,584 to £27,269 per annum based on experience

The main purpose of this role is to deliver a comprehensive support service across the People & Development Department.

Duties will cover a wide range of transactional activities including preparation of case materials for HR colleagues, minute taking, assisting with updating corporate materials & polices, coordination of Long Service/Good Conduct medals. You will work in conjunction with the HR Workforce Systems Officer to generate management information and establishment reports as well as answering general queries and provide guidance and support to managers and employees on matters relating to routine HR policies, procedures and terms and conditions of employment.

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office

This is a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and a strong focus on teamwork, support and prioritisation in order to meet tight deadlines.
