Volunteer Activities
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service volunteering programme activities include:

Home safety assessments - give safety advice within the home and fit free smoke detectors

Business safety - Give safety advice within business premise in line with the fire safety order.

Road safety - help reduce serious injury and road deaths.

Heritage section - show and maintain vintage fire engines.

Youth work with RESPECT and On the Streets - engaging with young people , supporting staff in delivering activities and encouraging young people to follow instructions, or act as a mentor to them

Youth work Prince's Trust - volunteers are invaluable in supporting the team and providing a positive role model to team members.

Role Play - volunteers have the opportunity to attend as role play actors of people involved in an accident and in our state of the art incident command suite.

Cadet staff - supporting an enthusiastic team, this is a key face to face opportunity to engage in activities that help guide young people in developing new skills and working as a team.

Post Fire Support Team - provides a post incident clean up team across Cheshire, following minor domestic fires
