As cadet staff you will support the scheme in providing the cadets with an insight into working within a uniformed service as well as encouraging them to develop personally, socially and with self discipline.

In a team environment, cadet staff promote physical, mental and emotional wellbeing by organising structured activities which develop cadets to take informed decisions regarding their future career and life opportunities.

The commitment to attend the weekly drill night at a designated station and on a regular basis, is vital to this role. We do have roles within the cadet scheme that do not require involvement with drill yard activities, if you feel you are able to offer skills such as administration, events and activity support please do get in touch.

The duration of the drill night is normally 3 hours and will take place on the same evening each week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday dependent on station).

Volunteer Cadet Staff require a DBS check.

Availability of this service is an evening per week, 6pm - 9pm with the possibility of weekend and holiday events.
