Step into Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service through the Work Experience Programme
The 2023 work experience programme application is now CLOSED.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service will be offering work experience places for year 10 students who attend school in the Cheshire, Halton and Warrington areas.
Due to the investment in our year 10 programme, we are unable to offer work experience placements to any other age groups.
The date of the 2023 placement is expected to be Monday 3rd to Friday 7th July 2023, exact dates to be confirmed.
The placement will take place primarily at Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service, Sadler Road, Winsford, CW7 2FQ, and at, Safety Central, Cliff Lane, Lymm, Warrington, WA13 0TE. However, it may also involve visiting other sites.
Students would be responsible for their own travel to and from the locations.
The programme will provide an experience of working within a modern fire and rescue service, and will give an insight in to many key areas of Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, which includes: our educational platforms, community and business engagement to prevent and protect, along with an insight into operational training.
