We've arrived back in Cheshire after the most amazing experience in Nepal.
It's nearly over and we really can't believe it...for all the things people told us we were just not prepared for how life changing this was going to be!
It’s such hard work to get the school ready for the hand over and we have been sweeping, cleaning and doing general tidying and DIY. The school already looks a lot better for it!
We have been struggling with phone signal so we hope you are getting all our blog updates! We are all ok and loving our time here with the village children.
This morning we woke all refreshed due to us having to sleep in the tea house because of the rain. Once we’d had breakfast it was time to visit a local school
We trekked to Nele today in cloud which then turned into a heavy down pour that stayed with us all day. All the team plodded on, although very wet but in high spirits.
Today has been a very long day. Our trek was really tough, but we all managed to get to the camp site.
Our trek to Bhote Kharak was delayed slightly due to us being split up on our flight to Phaplu but we've made good progress on our trek.
We’ve arrived at Phaplu Airport which has a very small runway. It’s the one used by people coming to Nepal to climb Everest so it’s quite busy and full of Sherpa’s and hikers.
Day 3 of the Nepal trip and we went shopping in Bhaktapur today before setting off on a 5-day trek to Kangel
All 28 of us have finally arrived in Nepal. We are very tired but excited to be in Nepal.
We arrived in good time at Manchester Airport ready for our flight to Nepal - excited about our trip to Nepal to build new classrooms
Following two years of fundraising, a group of Cheshire Fire Cadets are heading to Nepal to help finish off much needed classrooms at a village school.
