1000km challenge #ForVicki
Location:1000km challenge starting in Blackpool.

Starting on 7 July, on-call firefighter Phil Cunningham from Poynton Fire Station will be cycling 1000km to raise money for his injured colleague, Firefighter Vicki Griffiths.

Vicki recently had a serious accident whilst in the gym which has so far left her unable to feel or move from the waist down. She now has to readapt to her new life and this fund along with love from her family and friends will help to support her through her new challenges.
To help get Vicki home from hospital her home and car first need adapting, and this is where any money raised will help.
Route
The challenge will start in Blackpool with an estimated 13,500 metres of climbing.
The 1000km ride is a tough and challenging ride taking in Hardnott and Wrynose passes before going into Yorkshire. A loop north into Scotland via Kielder to Lockerbie.
Back south again through Penrith and the Yorkshire Dales before a loop out to Robin Hood’s Bay and then back to Blackpool.
