Crews were called to two wheelie bins on fire close to a garage in Sandbach. Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and checked the garage roof and fascia boards for signs of fire spread. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots.
This is believed to have been caused by discarded hot ash.
