Crews were called to a car emitting smoke on the driveway of a property on Stone Pit Lane. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to cool the vehicle and make it safe. The road had to be closed while the incident was dealt with due to the access needed to the fire hydrant.
