Calf rescued from a bog in Henbury

Two fire engines attended - one from Macclesfield and one from Lymm - as did an animal rescue unit from BollingtonDetails
At 4.30pm firefighters were called to a report of a calf being stranded in shallow water on Pexhill Road, Henbury.
Safe systems of work and inflated walkways were set up to get the calf out of the bog.
The calf was then carried to safe ground before being handed over to its owner, a farmer.
Firefighters were in attendance for around an hour-and-a-half.Return to latest incidents
