At around 9.20am firefighters were called to reports of a car being on fire on Moston Road in Chester. On arrival the crew found that the vehicle was well alight.

The road was closed in both directions as firefighters worked at the scene. They used breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
