Car fire in Chester

One fire engine attended from Chester

At around 5.40pm firefighters were called to a report of a car being on fire on School Lane in Mickle Trafford, Chester.
On arrival crews discovered that the fire had caused damage to an outbuilding.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
They then used the hose reel to damp the area affected by the fire down to make sure that it was safe.
Firefighters also used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
Although the fire damaged the domestic outbuilding it did not catch fire.
Firefighters were in attendance for more than an hour-and a-half.
