Car fire in Ellesmere Port

Details

At around 10pm firefighters were called to reports of black smoke in the Rossmore Road East area of Ellesmere Port.

On arrival crews found a car well alight.

A firefighter wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire in the open.

They then damped the vehicle down to make it safe.

Firefighters were in attendance for around an hour.
