Car fire in Runcorn

Shortly after 8.30am firefighters were called to reports of a fare on Fieldway, Runcorn. 

On arrival at the scene the crew found the saloon cars which were well alight. 

Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and  dampen down.

They also used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots. 

Firefighters were detained at the scene for around three hours.

The cause of the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
