Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to ensure a car fire was fully extinguished in Widnes. The fire was out on arrival of the crews but they used the camera to check there were no hotspots. Police also attended the scene due to the fire being started deliberately. Anyone with any information is urged to call police on 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
