DetailsFirefighters were called following reports of a car fire on Liverpool Road.
On arrival the crews found a car well alight.
One firefighter wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
The crews then damped down the scene and used a thermal imaging camera was used to check the car for hotspots
