Car submerged in water

One fire engine from Middlewich, one fire engine from Sandbach and a rope rescue unit from Sandbach.

Details
Firefighters from Middlewich and Sandbach,including a rope rescue unit, were called to reports of a car going into water off Dragon's Lane, Sandbach.

Upon arrival firefighters located one vehicle, which had left the road and entered a lake. The two occupants of the car had already freed themselves and were in the care of paramedics. Crews remained at the incident to assist the police and ambulance services for approximatley thirty minutes.
