Caravan fire next to a disused country club in Warrington

Shortly after 4pm firefighters were called to reports of a fire involving a caravan in Bank Street, Glazebrook, Warrington.

On arrival crews discovered that the caravan was against a disused country club.

Firefighters extinguished the fire with two hose reel jets and gained access to the building.

They inspected the inside and outside of the building for hotspots using a thermal imaging camera to make sure that it was safe.

Firefighters then used a short extension ladder and hand tools to secure the premises.

They were in attendance for around an hour.

The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
