Chip pan fire in Chester

One fire engine attended from Chester


At around 7.15pm firefighters were informed of smoke alarms sounding at a domestic property in Alder Grove, Hoole, Chester.

On arrival the crew discovered that a fire involving a chip pan had activated the alarms.

The fire was out on arrival.

Firefighters ventilated the property and monitored the temperature of the chip pan with a thermal imaging camera.

They left the address once they were satisfied that it was safe.

Firefighters were in attendance for around 45 minutes.
