Details
A commercial vehicle was well alight on the M56 westbound between junction 14 and 15.  The vehicle was well alight.  Smoke was causing visibility issues on the eastbound carriageway of the motorway.  The highways agency helped to set up matrix signs to warn oncoming drivers of visibility hazards. Firefighters used one hose reel jet to tackle the fire.  Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus.
