Horse box fire in Warrington

Two fire engines attended - one from Warrington and one from Birchwood

Firefighters attended to a fire involving a horse box on Alder Lane in Warrington.

Crews set up an inner cordon due to the fire being close to a railway.

Wearing four breathing apparatus, crews used two hose reels to extinguish the fire and dampened down the area.

The horse box was then checked for hot spots using the thermal imaging camera.

Crews were in attendance for two hours.
