House fire in Burwardsley, near Chester

Harthill Road, Burwardsley, near Chester

Nine fire engines attended - one from Malpas, one from Audlem, one from Winsford, one from Middlewich, one from Crewe, one from Nantwich, two from Chester and one from Tarporley

Firefighters attended to a large house fire on Harthill Road in Burwardsley.

The fire was located on the ground and first floor.

One main  jet was used to put out the flames.

One woman was safely removed from the house by crews and handed into the care of paramedics suffering from smoke inhalation.

Update 11.30am - Monday 22 November. 

Firefighters remain in attendance at the scene. 

The crews are currently using two ground monitors to dampen down.

A building surveyor has also been called to the scene to asses the building.
