Lorry fire in Sandbach

Details
Firefighters used one hose reel jet to cool an articulated lorry after the axle was on fire. Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to check for any remaining hot spots of fire on the vehicle and in the trailer, in which a load of boxed furniture was being carried. However, the fire had not spread this far and the lorry was declared safe.
