Man falls whilst rock climbing in High Peak

Side End Lane, Kettleshulme, High Peak

Two fire engines attended - one from Macclesfield and one from Lymm - as did the rope rescue unit from Lymm

At around 2.15pm firefighters were called to a report of a man having fallen whilst rock climbing at Side End Lane in Kettleshulme, High Peak.
On arrival the crews discovered that the man had fallen approximately two metres.
An air ambulance was in attendance and the casualty was being assessed by paramedics.
Firefighters helped paramedics carry the casualty to a road ambulance.
They were in attendance for over an hour.
