At around 3.15pm firefighters were called to a report of a moped being on fire near Brook House Drive and Mere Brook Road in Crewe.
The fire was out on arrival.
Firefighters damped down the surrounding area with water to make sure that it was safe and were in attendance for around 20 minutes.
