Two-vehicle collision in Neston

Chester High Road, Neston

Two fire engines attended, one from Powey Lane and one from Heswall in Merseyside


Firefighters were called to a collision on Chester High Road in Neston.

The collision involved two vehicles.

On arrival a woman was trapped in one of the vehicles.

Firefighters stabilised the vehicle.

After the casualty had been assessed by a doctor, firefighters and paramedics got her out of the vehicle via the driver's door.

She was then left in the care of paramedics.

The casualty was taken to hospital in an ambulance, as where three of the people who had been in the other vehicle involved in the collision.

Those three people - a woman and two girls - were assessed at the scene.

They were taken to hospital for further assessment.

The road was closed whilst emergency services worked at the scene.

Firefighters were in attendance for around an hour-and-a-half.
