Caravans on fire at caravan park in Warrington

Warburton Bridge Road, Warrington.

One fire engine from Warrington, one from Birchwood and one from Stockton Heath. One fire engine from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service also attended.


Firefighters tackled a fire involving seven caravans at a site in Warrington.

Fire crews used four hose reel jets to deal with the incident. Five caravans were destroyed by the fire and a further two caravans suffered heat damage.

Firefighters removed several cylinders and used a thermal imaging camera to make sure they are safe. A safety cordon was put in place while the incident was dealt with.

The fire is believed to have been started accidentally.
