Pigeon stuck in netting in Chester

One fire engine attended from Chester

Shortly before 7pm firefighters were called to reports of a pigeon being stuck at the British Heart Foundation building in Frodsham Street, Chester.
On arrival the crew found that the pigeon was stuck in netting on the outside of the building, just above the first floor.
A firefighter walked up a seven-metre ladder to free the pigeon.
The pigeon was then handed over to the care of the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
Firefighters were in attendance for around 10 minutes.
