Small engine fire on the M6

DetailsShortly before 3pm firefighters were notified of a fire involving a small vehicle on the hard shoulder of the M6 northbound, between junctions 22 and 21A.
It was a small engine fire.
Highways England fended off the hard shoulder and the first lane of the motorway and firefighters extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet.
Firefighters were in attendance for around 20 minutes.
