Small vehicle fire in Sandbach

Details
At approximately 7.20pm Firefighters from Crewe attended reports of a car fire on the M6 near Sandbach.
On arrival at the scene the team found that all occupants had got out of the vehicle  that the engine compartment of the car was well alight.
One firefighter, wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. The team then used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots.
Firefighters were detained for approximately 45 minutes.
