Three car fires in Crewe

Firefighters were called to deal with three car fires in an area of Crewe.

The first took place just after 2am on Walthall Street where it is believed a car had been deliberately set on fire. Just over 20minutes later crews were called to a similar incident on Flag Lane and then at 2.32am to a third car fire, which was again located on Flag Lane.

Crews used a hose reel jet to put out all three fires.

It is believed that this fire may have been started deliberately. If anyone has any information that could help identify those responsible they are asked to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
