One fire engine attended from Warrington

At approximately 6.30am firefighters were called to reports of a vehicle fire on Guardian Street, Warrington. The fire involved a small van which was well alight on the roadway behind the hospital.
Crews used one hose reel jet and one breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. An adjacent vehicle was also damaged as a result of the incident. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
