A small van was involved in fire on the hard shoulder of the M56 westbound between junctions 11 to 12, near to Daresbury Business Park.  Firefighters, two wearing breathing apparatus, used two hose reel jets to put out the fire.  The hard shoulder and lane one were closed closed as the crew tackled the incident.
