Vehicle fire in Shavington

Two fire engines attended – one from Nantwich and one from Alsager

Details

Firefighters were called to a car on fire on the A500 towards the Shavington roundabout. The fire had also spread to the embankment next to the road so crews used beaters and a hose reel to put out the fire.

A thermal imaging camera was used to inspect the vehicle.

One lane was closed off while crews dealt with the fire.
