Wheelie bin fire in Warrington

One fire engine attended from Birchwood


At around 3.15pm firefighters were called to a report of a wheelie bin being on fire at the side of a house in Edgars Drive, Warrington.

The crew used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, which caused damaged to the house's doorway and brickwork.

Firefighters inspected the house to make sure the fire had not spread to it and that there was no smoke inside.

They were in attendance for around half-an-hour.
