Joint Open Day 2019
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service and Cheshire Police will be hosting an action-packed day at Cheshire Police Headquarters.
The fun filled event, which is free for all the community takes place between 11.30am and 4.30pm on Sunday 14 July.
There will be interactive displays and exhibitions that will give you the chance to see the complex nature of the work we do and how the two emergency services work together to protect the community.
Staff from both emergency services will also be on hand to answer questions and give advice on staying safe and preventing crime.
Modern Police and Fire vehicles will be showcased and there will be displays in the main arena throughout the day. Police dogs will also be in attendance.
For children there will be free activities including face painting, a climbing wall, craft area. Refreshments, including hot and cold food, will also be available to buy.
Please note this is predominantly an outdoor event. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
NO alcohol, smoking and e-cigarettes are permitted on site.
You will need to ensure that each ticket is in the name of each individual attending. You cannot bulk order tickets under one name. People without tickets will not be allowed into the event.
Tickets are named and adults are likely to be asked for a photo identification before admission to the event. Bags, prams and persons may be subject to being searched prior to admission (it is recommended that large bags and rucksacks are not brought on site). All persons, including young children and babies, will require named tickets.

How do I get to the event/what are parking arrangements?
Parking is on and off site. All people attending by car will be directed to the appropriate car park by traffic management stewards. As parking spaces will be limited we encourage everyone to cycle or walk where possible as well as car share.
This event is at Police Headquarters (Clemonds Hey, Oakmere Road, Winsford, CW7 2UA) and entry is through the main front gate, therefore security will be strict. Each member of your party will require a named ticket for access to the venue.
Walking or cycling to the site is permitted. Cycles can be stored on site at your own risk. Any vehicles parked in nearby area are subject to normal traffic restrictions and patrols will be actively monitoring this area.
I have a blue badge, where can I park?
There will be small number of on-site car-parking spaces available. Both parts of a valid blue badge will be required on the day, this MUST relate to a guest with entry ticket who is in the vehicle.
I have reserved my tickets, but one of my party can no longer come, can someone else use that ticket?
Should this be the case, please log onto Eventbrite website and cancel your tickets. These can then be re-distributed.
Can I bring my dog?
No, unless the dog is a registered guide dog or assistance dog. Please be aware that Police Dogs will be on-site all day, and there are no provisions for any pets.
Can I bring food?
Yes. Different type of food/drinks will also be available to buy on site, however food is permitted. Alcohol is not permitted.
Do I need to bring my ticket with me?
Yes. Each ticket will be scanned prior to admission. A confirmation e-mail will be received which will have your tickets attached. The tickets can be printed or can be presented on a smartphone/ tablet device capable of displaying a PDF document to be scanned. Tickets are non-transferrable; they are valid only for the person named on the ticket.
