Firefighter riding a bikeA group of Cheshire Fire Cadets will be taking part in a charity bike ride this weekend, September 7 and 8 in Golden Square in Warrington.

They are hoping to raise much needed funds to enable them to build classrooms for village children at a remote school in Nepal.

The cadets are aged between 14 and 17 years of age and will head out to finish off the classrooms next year but first need to raise £3,600 each for the build.

To help raise the money the group will be riding static bikes equating to the distance from Warrington to Snowdon in Golden Square, Warrington this weekend with all money raised going to the charity Classrooms in the Clouds and their Nepal Project.

They also have a giving page where people can donate: Bike ride to Snowdon from Warrington (opens in new window)
