Euro 2016 - play it safe
When Euro 2016 starts, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service would like to urge residents to play it safe.
The football games will mostly be played at 5pm or 8pm in the evening, so please take extra care if you are watching the games and celebrating.
Play it safe in your kitchen
Don't get caught offside with fire safety in your kitchen:
Test your smoke alarms before kick-off
Don’t leave cookers or grills unattended.
Keep tea towels and cloths away from the cooker and hob.
Double check the cooker is off when you've finished cooking.
Complete our online home safety check and you will get a personalised fire safety plan, which will offer advice on how to prevent fires in your home: Do the online home safety check.

If you are driving, stay on top of your game.
Don't drink and drive - if you go out to watch the football and plan to have a drink, please leave your car at home.
