Join Cheshire Fire Cadets as an adult volunteer
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service is currently looking for adult volunteers to join our cadet scheme.
You don't need any firefighting experience, just a willingness to play your part in leading young people to achieve things you never thought possible.
You will get the chance to become part of a friendly team, pick up some new skills and discover more about one the country's leading fire and rescue services.
About volunteer cadet staff
As a volunteer member of cadet staff you will be given all of the training you require to help support the young people in your community as well as opportunities to develop yourself.
A typical cadet unit hosts up to 20 young people aged between 12 - 17 years of age, from varied and diverse backgrounds, who are supervised by 4 volunteer cadet staff.
Cadet staff must be over the age of 18 and are required to support the running of our fire cadet units - just one evening every week as well as some weekends during school term time.
Note - all cadet staff will have to complete a DBS check.
